Vicent Pelechano, with a strong personality that prints for his interpretations, is one of the young spanish orchestra conductors more emerging in recent years, enjoy great success at theaters and concerts halls as Utah State University concert hall (USA), Salzburg Volkskultur der Saal (Autria), Casino Baden in Vienna (Austria) or Yaani Kirik Concert Hall in Sant Petersburg (Russia). 

He has been invited to conduct a huge number of orchestras in Europe and North America, as Vienna City Orchestra, Walnut Valley Symphony Orchestra (Los Angeles, US), Utah State University Symphony Orchestra (US), Graz Camerata, Menorca Philharmonic Orchestra.

At season 2019/20, Maestro Vicent Pelechano was guest artist  as part prestigious Visiting Artists and Scholars Series of the Caine College of the Arts, (Utah).

At season 18/19 is named Artistic Director and Music Director UIMP Camerata.

At season 2017/18, he conducted the Spanish RTV Symphonic Orchestra and Chorus in the concert tribute to Spanish athletes. (more info)

At season 17/18 is named Artistic Director and Music Director International University Menendez Pelayo/ OJAA Orchestra.

At 2016 he has been the youngest orchestra conductor appointed General Manager of the II National Congress AMProband.

Maestro Pelechano is guest professor at different UNIVERSITY as International University Menendez Pelayo (Spain), Utah State University (USA), Ataulfo Argenta Conservatoire, Musikene Escuela Superior de Música.

Vicent Pelechano has conduces several  WORLD PREMIERES as Misa Popular Cántabra (Palacio Festivales de Cantabria, 2017), Electronic Music Symphonic Concert composed by J. Santos (Teatro Casyc, 2018), Symphonic Concert for a Trumpet composed by E. De Tena (Paraninfo Universidad Cantabria, 2019) Spanish national project and concert to Sport Press Spain (Palacio Festivales de Cantabria, 2016), Spanish RTV Symphonic Orchestra and Chorus in the concert tribute to Spanish athletes (Madrid 2018).

He has worked with INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS, among others, with artists of the stature of Junichiro Takashi (Japan / Germany, Violin), Hagia Pastor (Switzerland, International Pianist), Simon Orfila (bass), Celso Albelo (Tenor), Robert Weaver (Bristol University Chamber Orchestra), Alexander Polianichko (Belorussian State Chamber Orchestra) or Nové Deypalant (Los Angeles Conducting Institute).

Invitations have led him to orchestras such as Music Caine College of the Arts Utah State University, F. Mendelssohn Academy in Leipzig, Graz Cathedral, Concert Hall Liepaja or Los Angeles Performing Arts Centre (US), Palacio de Festivales Santander (Cantabria) At the same time he has been a guest in festivals and concert halls as International Festival of Ljubljana (Slovenian), Palacio Festivales de Cantabria (Spain), Palau de la Música (Spain), Romanian Athenaeum (Bucharest), Teatre Es Born (Spain), Salzburg Volkskultur der Saal (Autria), Casino Baden in Vienna (Austria) or Yaani Kirik Concert Hall in Sant Petersburg (Russia).

He has recorded in live discography including A. BORODIN: Polovtsian Dances, W. A. MOZART: Symphony nº 25 in G minor, N. SÁMANO: Misa Popular Cántabra, M. de FALLA : Three Cornered Hat, G. BIZET: Carmen, A. GINASTERA: Estancia suite.

Vicent Pelechano expands studies of COGNITIVE PSYCHOLOGY AND EMOTION PSYCHOLOGY, PHILOSOPHY COGNITIVE SCIENCES, mental tools, studies of neuroscience and psychology of the mind, high performance psychological studies at the University Edinburgh, University of British Columbia, UNED, Esneca School Business, McMaster University, University of California San Diego.

 

He is one of the first spanish orchestra conductors who accomplish Post University Degree about  Psychology and mental capacity applied to the Arts Fine and specifically to mental work of the conductor and his influence in the symphony orchestra. Result is a university study on emotional intelligence, personality, character on the podium titled Psychology and mental capacity in the Conductor.
