Vicent Pelechano develops musical leadership and emotional intelligence in his works, enjoying a great success at theaters and concerts halls as Utah State University concert hall (USA), Salzburg Volkskultur der Saal (Autria), Casino Baden in Vienna (Austria) or Yaani Kirik Concert Hall in Sant Petersburg (Russia).
He has been invited to conduct a huge number of orchestras in Europe and North America, as Vienna City Orchestra, Walnut Valley Symphony Orchestra (Los Angeles, US), USU Symphony Orchestra (Logan, US), Graz Camerata, (Austria), Menorca Philharmonic Orchestra (Spain).
From season 17/18 is Music Director at Santander Symphony Wind Orchestra. From season 18/19 is named Artistic Director and Music Director UIMP Camerata and from season 17/18 is named Artistic Director and Music Director International University Menendez Pelayo/ OJAA Orchestra.
At season 20/21 Vicent Pelechano is the first orchestra conductor that conducting in the Senado de España. At season 2019/20 was guest artist at Visiting Artists and Scholars Series of the Caine College of the Arts, (Logan, US). At season 2017/18 he led the Spanish RTV Symphonic Orchestra and Chorus in the concert tribute to Spanish athletes. (more info). At 2016 he has been the youngest orchestra conductor appointed General Manager of the II National Congress AMProband.
Vicent Pelechano is guest professor at different University and Music Academy as International University Menendez Pelayo (Spain), Utah State University (USA), Ataulfo Argenta Conservatoire, La Via dei Concerti (Trento, Italy), Musikene Escuela Superior de Música, Samnium University of Music (Solopaca, Benevento, (Italy), Fundación EUTMUS y Fundación ACMU (Colombia).
Highlight debuts and performances during last seasons as a guest conductor in F. Mendelssohn Academy in Leipzig, Graz Cathedral, Concert Hall Liepaja or Los Angeles Performing Arts Centre (US), Palacio de Festivales Santander (Cantabria), and other premieres at concert halls as International Festival of Ljubljana (Slovenian), Palau de la Música (Spain), Romanian Athenaeum (Bucharest), Teatre Es Born (Spain), Salzburg Volkskultur der Saal (Autria), Casino Baden in Vienna (Austria) or Yaani Kirik Concert Hall in Sant Petersburg (Russia).
He has conducted in countries like Germany, Russia, Austria, Italy, France, Lithuania, Slovenian, US, Hungary, Spain, orchestras as Moscow String Orchestra, Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra Budapest (Hungary), Berliner Symphoniker Strings Orchestra (Germany), St.Petersburg Chamber Orchestra (Russia), Kammerphilarmonie Graz (Austria), Vienna Sinfonietta Orchestra (Austria) Coro Sinfónico RTVE, Camerata Coral Universidad de Cantabria, Coro del Palacio de Festivales de Cantabria, Salve Choral Symphonic and invited by some of the most prestigious conducting academy and as Philarmonisches Kammerorchester Berlin (Germany), International Besançon Competition, Liszt Academy in Weimar (Germany), European Conducting Academy (Italy), Slokar Academy (Slovenian), Felix-Mendelssohn-Bartholdy Academy in Leipzig (Germany).
Upcoming activities include three concerts during 2021 at Camerata Lliria City of Music.
His engagements have led him conducting several World Premieres as Misa Popular Cántabra (Palacio Festivales de Cantabria, 2017), Electronic Music Symphonic Concert composed by J. Santos (Teatro Casyc, 2018), Symphonic Concert for a Trumpet composed by E. De Tena (Paraninfo Universidad Cantabria, 2019), Spanish national project and concert to Spain Sport Press (Palacio Festivales de Cantabria, 2016).
Vicent Pelechano's discography includes works to A. Borodin, W. A. Mozart, N. Sámano, M. de Falla, G. Bizet, A. Ginastera, so the New Year's Concert 2021 from Palacio de Festivales de Santander.
He is one of the first spanish orchestra conductors who accomplish Post University Studies about Psychology and mental capacity applied to the Arts Fine and specifically to mental work of the conductor and his influence in the symphony orchestra. From this works Vicent Pelechano develops a university study on emotional intelligence, personality, character on the podium titled Psychology and mental capacity in the Conductor.
In this area, he expands studies of cognitive psychology, emotion psychology and philosophy cognitive sciences, mental tools, studies of neuroscience and psychology of the mind at the University Edinburgh, University of British Columbia, UNED, Esneca School Business, McMaster University, University of California San Diego.
Vicent Pelechano received several Awards as Distinguished Person in Ministry of Defense (season 2016/2017), Second Prize Best Conductor Graz Kammerphilarmonie (season 2015), Prize Best Conductor St. Petersburg Chamber Orchestra (season 2013/2014), First Prize V International Competition Conducting "Maestro José Ferriz" (season 2010).
