INTERNATIONALS ARTISTS COLLABORATIONS
Award in Humanization at Mental Health by Hospital Universitario Marqués de Valdecilla (season 2023/24) and recognized by the specialized press as he develops musical leadership and emotional intelligence in his works, Vicent Pelechano is Artistic Director and Music Director Symphony Orchestra residence at International University Menendez Pelayo (UIMP), Santander (Spain).
He enjoying a great success at theaters and concerts halls as Utah State University concert hall (USA), Salzburg Volkskultur der Saal (Autria), Casino Baden in Vienna (Austria) or Yaani Kirik Concert Hall in Sant Petersburg (Russia).
His most recent successes include various invitations to the seasons Walnut Valley Symphony Orchestra (Los Angeles, US), Graz Camerata, (Austria), USU Symphony Orchestra (Logan, US), RTVE Symphonic Orchestra and Chorus (Spain), Camerata Lliria City of Music (Spain) at several concerts to UNESCO. At season 20/21 Vicent Pelechano was the first orchestra conductor that conducting in the Senado de España.
Highlight debuts and performances in front orchestras as Moscow String Orchestra, Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra Budapest (Hungary), Berliner Symphoniker Strings Orchestra (Germany), St.Petersburg Chamber Orchestra (Russia), Kammerphilarmonie Graz (Austria), Vienna Sinfonietta Orchestra (Austria) Coro Sinfónico RTVE, Camerata Coral Universidad de Cantabria, Coro del Palacio de Festivales de Cantabria.
Vicent Pelechano, in its commitment to young people, is guest professor and guest artist at different University and Music Academy as Visiting Artists and Scholars Series of the Caine College of the Arts, (Logan, US), International University Menendez Pelayo (Spain), Utah State University (USA), Ataulfo Argenta Conservatoire, La Via dei Concerti (Trento, Italy), Musikene Escuela Superior de Música, Samnium University of Music (Solopaca, Benevento, (Italy), Fundación EUTMUS y Fundación ACMU (Colombia).
His engagements have led him conducting several World Premieres as Alma Mater by Tomás Marco (Palacio de la Magdalena, 2022) Suite from drums set and orchestra by D. Mancini (Palacio Festivales de Cantabria, 2021), Misa Popular Cántabra (Palacio Festivales de Cantabria, 2017), Electronic Music Symphonic Concert by J. Santos (Teatro Casyc, 2018), Symphonic Concert for a Trumpet by E. De Tena (Paraninfo Universidad Cantabria, 2019).
He is one of the first spanish orchestra conductors who accomplish Post University Studies about Psychology and mental capacity and in this area expands studies of neuroscience and psychology of the mind at the University Edinburgh, University of British Columbia, UNED, Esneca School Business, McMaster University, University of California San Diego.
Once completing the studies specialize in Orchestra Conducting and Choral Conducting at Superior Conservatory of Music in Valencia, later expands it in Barcelona, Berlin, Viena, Salzburg with mentors as Bruno Weil, Albert Argudo o Peter Gülke.
Vicent Pelechano received several Awards as Distinguished Person in Ministry of Defense (season 2016/2017), Second Prize Best Conductor Graz Kammerphilarmonie (season 2015), Prize Best Conductor St. Petersburg Chamber Orchestra (season 2013/2014), First Prize V International Competition Conducting "Maestro José Ferriz" (season 2010).
